Georgia Community Involvement - June 2020

As we navigate through these uncertain times, Sun Com and Cricket Wireless are making sure our local communities know that we are here for them.

Our employees have been out and about in the community donating their time to help families in need. Recently in Georgia, Sun Com had the opportunity to partner with local and national organizations to combat community issues such as food shortages and COVID-19 testing.

In conjunction with St. Peter Missionary Baptist church and SisterLove non-profit organization, 100 families were served at a local food drive in the Atlanta area. Along with the food drive, additional services were provided such as COVID-19 testing.

Sun Com visited The Oaks at Ashton Hills Assisted Living in appreciation of all the sweet essential workers durig C N A week. The nurses and staff were incredibly thankful for the sweet treats and thank you notes.

Sun Com had the opportunity to attend a Latin American Association event in late June. Along with Telemundo Atlanta, Atlanta Community Food Bank, US Census Bureau and more to provide 600 families with food and other supplies.  

These are just a few recent volunteer activities we’ve taken part in. We look forward to stepping up for more families in more communities in the weeks to come.
